Actalent is working with a leading manufacturer of custom oligonucleotides and proprietary technologies for genomics applications. The work is complex and cutting-edge, and our team members are curious, creative thinkers who understand that good data drives smart decisions.
This Lab Technician positions are part of the formulations, synthesis, and HPLC departments located in Coralville, IA and will be required to be onsite 4x/week.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Perform manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products including decontamination processes, product transfer, and instrument maintenance and logging.
Operate laboratory instruments to complete tasks by following all work instructions and adhering to all company policies and procedures. Strictly adhere to customer specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs.
Support daily management of processes and products including assessment to drive problem solving with data and suggestion of countermeasures.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Associates Degree in Life Sciences required
Laboratory experience.
Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
A Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences preferred
12 months of lab experience; Life Science work experience preferred.
Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
