BRADLEY Geneva--James Albert Bradley, Lochland caretaker at Our the Retreat House, died Friday night (Apr. 1, 1949.) Mr. Bradley was born in Maslived where he followed the carpenter's trade until he came to Geneva 18 years ago. He gave up his trade 6 years ago to enter the employ of the Retreat House. He was a member of St.

Stephen's Church and of the Holy Name Society of that parish. The survivors are the widow, Mary Flanagan Bradley; a daughter, Miss Norma Bradley; two sons, Leo and Elmer of Syracuse; two brothers, Frank and Elzon, Massena; three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, The funeral will Devaney Co. at 8:30 tomorrow and will take, place in St. Stephen's Church The body will be taken to Syracuse for burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. JAMES E. CLARKE Willard--James E.

Clarke, 54, of Willard, died in the U. S. Veterans Hospital in Bath Friday (Apr, 1, 1949) where he had been a patient for several years. He resided in New York City for 25 years, where he worked as a machinist. He was a graduate of Ovid High School and then enlisted in the Navy in World War 1, after which he worked in New York City.

He leaves a sister, Mrs. John S. Bean of Rochester; a brother, Ray Clarke Rahway, N. J. Private funeral was conducted yesterday in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester.

DANIEL A. PIKE Geneseo Daniel Arthur Pike, 81, native of Michigan and resident of the Town of Geneseo for the past 40 years, died late Friday, (Apr. 1, 1949), in Warsaw Hospital. Mr. Pike, a farmer in this town for 40 years, had been a member of the Macabees and the Grange but had not been active in either in the past few years.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Kattie R. Pike, Geneseo; two sisters, Mrs. John Doley of Caledonia and Mrs. Sherman Sanford of Nunda; four brothers, Adrean and James, both Avon, Henry of Nunda and Oscar of Dansville, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be conducted at 2 p. m. Tuesday in his home in the Geneseo-Avon by the Rev. Joseph Sunder, pastor of the Bergen Presbyterian Church, formerly of Geneseo. Burial will be in Avon Cemetery, MRS.

CLARA S. NORTH Canandaigua Mrs. Clara Spangle North formerly of Canandaigua, died Friday, (Apr. 1, 1949), in Riverdale, Md. She is survived by a son and daughter, Edwin L.

North of West Bloomfield and Mrs. Susan Hazell of Riverdale, Md. Funeral arrangements await the arrival of the body here this evening. The body will be at the Curtice Funeral Home in Main according to relatives. PAUL J.

MONIOT Penn Yan-Paul J. Moniot, 63, of 129 Garfield Penn Yan, died in Soldiers Sailors Memorial Hospital yesterday (Apr. 2, 1949). He had been admitted to the hospital Friday afternoon. Born in France, he came to Penn Yan in 1912 end had made his home here, since.

He was employed R. C. Williams ever. Wine Cellars. He leaves his wife, Charlotte; two sons, Andre and Raymond; a daughter, Mrs.

Patsy Condella, and a brother, Eugene Moniot, all of Penn Yen. The body will be taken from the Weldon Funeral Home to the family home this forenoon. Services will be conducted in the family home at 8:30 a. m. tomorrow and in St.

Michael's Church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. GEORGE MACK Clyde -George Mack, 63, died unexpectedly in his home, 22 Hill Clyde, yesterday (Apr. 2, 1949).

He was born in Clyde, May 13, 1887, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mack and had been a life long resident of this vicinity. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of Clyde and the Newark Chapter, K. of C.

His position as deputy collector of internal revenue brought him in contact with many people in the area. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna Mack of Clyde; four cousins, Mrs. Peter Johnson of Clyde, Elmer Wolvin, Mrs. Gus Matties and Miss Ida Stillman, all of Lyons.

Friends may call at the Canolesio Funeral Home, 38 Ford Clyde. Funeral services will be held in St. John's Catholic Church tomorrow at 9:30 a. m. where a high Mass of requiem will be celebrated, the Rev.

MELVIN A. MANNING Naples--Melvin A. Manning, 68, died Friday (Apr. 1, in Italy Valley after a long illness. He was born Sept.

9, 1880, Town of Italy, Yates County, and had resided there all of his life. He leaves his wife, Grace Ellerington Manning; a daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Schraenkler of Potter: a son, Glenn home; a brother, George of Canandaigua, and six grandchildren. Funeral will be in the home morrow at 3 p. m.
